The company is having its most modern stockyard/ warehousing facilities at premises spread over Howrah/ Kolkata area at different locations, comprising a total area of around 20 acres. The above premises also comprises sufficient covered space for storing of specialised items. The stockyards are hardstanded with well equipped infrastructural facilities viz. lightning arrangements, good approach roads, efficient drainage system, overhead/ mobile cranes, electronic computerised weighbridge, computerised offices and other modern equipments for efficient operations in a Service Centre and a fully automised office manned by experienced personnel.
At present Soorajmull Baijnath Private Ltd. is operating as the Consignment cum handling and decoiling/ straightening agents of :
- M/s Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd.
- M/s. Tata Iron & Steel Co. Ltd.
handling a total throughput of around 1.9 Lac MT. steel materials per annum. Presently the company is also in the process of acquiring and construction of a most modern stockyard with Railway siding, for the purpose of proper mobilisation and storage of steel and other materials in bulk, near Sankrail Railway Station on the South Eastern Railway link and adjacent to National Highway way No. 6.
